Pilgrimages

If we each have an archetype through which we understand the nature of our life, mine is that of being a pilgrim. I love that our inner journey unfolds as we walk upon the path of our outer pilgrimage. I have a saying – the Camino, the pilgrim path, teaches what you need to know. Sometimes the pilgrimage is sheer joy; often we come up against parts of ourselves that needs to be gently held. Both experiences make up the rich tapestry of a feet-on-the-ground spirituality.

I have had the amazing opportunity of twice having co-facilitated pilgrimages on the Camino in Spain. Five times now I have had the privilege of co-leading pilgrimages in Ireland. In Australia, Lake Mungo, Gariwerd (the Grampians) and the Little Desert have all been landscapes across which I have led pilgrimages.

Each year I get to co-lead a pilgrimage to Ireland with my dear friend and colleague Alison Powell. The underlying theme around these pilgrimages is to explore the sacred feminine of both our inner self and the Irish landscape. These pilgrimages are open to women who feel the call to experience this most sacred of journeys.

There are a couple of vacancies for our 2023 pilgrimage. The dates are September 3rd – 19th 2023.

Let me know if you are interested in more details….

I have seen places I have only dreamed about.
I have seen places I have only read about.
I have seen places I have only heard about.
I have seen places I have only prayed about.
Now I have walked into places where the footsteps
of the Divine are deep and yet new to you and me.
May it be that I walk the pilgrims’ way again.
